Our Mission Statement:
Empowered by God, Lutheran High School builds a Christ-centered family to equip students spiritually, intellectually, and physically for service to God and society.

Lutheran High School is a college preparatory school, owned and operated by seven Lutheran churches in the greater Springfield area.  LuHi is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education, the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation and recognized by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) and National Honor Society.  LHS welcomes a diverse student body to pursue academic excellence in a Christian setting.   LuHi offers over thirty extracurricular clubs and activities. 

Located on the west side of Springfield, Illinois, Lutheran High School sits on 26 acres with a permanent academic building as well as a gymnasium, track facility and baseball, softball and soccer fields. Established in 1979, the school moved to the West Washington site in 1983.
