Mrs. Gilman was born and raised in Camp Point, Il. She attended business school at Patricia Stevens Career School in St. Louis. She moved to Springfield to work, where she met her husband Bill. Together they have six kids, 14 grandkids, and the rest is history…

She has worked in retail and for Xerox Corporation before having kids.  When her children got older she worked daycare at Trinity. Mrs. Gilman started working summer camp in 1993, and the Lutheran office in 2000.

Mrs. Gilman loves her family and being together.  She LOVES baseball (The Cubs), cooking, reading, sewing and attending LuHi sporting events.  She comes from a large family, so the more the merrier is what she all about.

One of many verses Mrs. Gilman likes is John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”.
