Lutheran High School is governed by seven LCMS Lutheran congregations that make up the Lutheran High School Association of the Greater Springfield Area. Each congregation appoints two representatives to our governing Board of Directors.

The Association Congregations who oversee Lutheran High School, commit a sizable portion of their treasury to support the Lutheran High School Ministry. Students who are members in good standing of an Association Congregation will receive a tuition credit of $1,000.00 per year. Credit is applied to the student’s account following the submission of the Church Membership Verification Form which is approved and signed by the student’s pastor.

To show appreciation for the support of our Association Congregations, let it be known that the Association Congregations pay the $1,000.00 on behalf of the student. The Congregations which encompass our Association are: Concordia, Immanuel, Our Savior’s and Trinity in Springfield; St. John’s in Chatham, Good Shepherd in Sherman, and Zion in Pleasant Plains.

Church Membership Verification Forms must be completed and submitted to Lutheran High School prior to July 1 of the upcoming school year. Please note, this form is the responsibility of the student to submit for credit, not the responsibility of the pastor or of Lutheran High School.
