Tuition and Fees

Lutheran High School is owned and operated by seven Lutheran congregations. During the 2017-2018 school year these congregations provided approximately 8% of the funds to operate the school year. Tuition and fees provided approximately 58% of the funds, gifts provided approximately 32%, fund-raisers and miscellaneous sources provided 2%. The actual costs to provide an education to one student during the 2017-2018 year was approximately $10,685. Lutheran High is not supported by the National, State, or Local government agencies.


There is a $200 Application/Re-Enrollment Fee. This is per student/per year.

The Re-Enrollment Fee is DUE by March 15, 2019 – this is required to register for classes.

There is a $250 Registration Fee. This is per student/per year. This is DUE IN FULL by August 2, 2019.

Above fees are Non-Refundable.

Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $7750.

*Association Church Members receive a discount. Forms must be signed by the Pastor before the discount is given and may be rescinded by the Pastor for lack of church attendance or withdrawn by Lutheran High if tuition is in arrears.

Forms must be submitted to Lutheran High by July 1, 2019

Annual Plan – payment due July 1.

Semester Plan – Payments are due July 1 and December 1. A $70 service fee is added to this plan.

Automatic Payment Plan (ACH) – A $155 service fee is added to this plan.

Ten (July-April) or (August-May).

Eleven (June-April) or (July-May).

Twelve (June-May)- MONTHLY automatic withdrawls managed through Security Bank


VISA, Mastercard, and Discover accepted. 

      ***A 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card payments.

4th Student: Full tuition credit



****The State of Illinois allows up to a $750/year tax credit per family. This is filed with your State income tax. (Please consult your tax advisor for details). Tax receipts will be mailed by January 31, 2020.

Graduation Fee (Seniors): $115 (Cap, gown, diploma, speakers, etc.)

Physical Education Uniform: $20 per set (one shirt, one short)

Madrigal Fee: $25

Driver's Education: $50

Athletic Fees: $125 1st Sport, $110 2nd Sport, $100 3rd Sport 

Scholastic Bowl: $80    *Prices starting FALL 2019-Spring 2020**

Speech Team Fee $25

English Writing Guide $35 (10th-12th grade Transfer Students Only)

$25 (Tuition, per month)
